Description

This volume includes diaspora Armenian philosopher Marc Nichanian’s reflections on the works of the photographer Carole Fékété, as well as 20th-century French intellectuals Maurice Blanchot and Georges Bataille’s literary and philosophical works. The questions of images, story and history are treated within the context of contemporary thought. As an addendum are also presented photographs by Fékété and excerpts from the mentioned authors’ works translated by the author. The volume ends with a short dictionary of French philosophical terms used in it.
