Early 1980s Hornsea “People” by John Clappison – Bridesmaid and Pageboy

These cute stylised figures are part of the short-lived Hornsea Pottery range of “People” designed by John Clappison and made by the company in the early 1980s. This pair are a bridesmaid and a pageboy and stand approximately 10cm (4 in.) tall.  Their cute hairstyles and stylised clothing are very much in-keeping with the range and they make a sweet couple.

In good general condition with no chips or cracks but with some slight discolouration due to age. Sold as a pair but consideration will be given to splitting them at potential buyer’s request.
